I bought my first Ferguson TO30 last weekend. She has a few issues so you"ll probably see me asking some questions on here soon.

Bert, I took my TO-20 radiator to Midwest Radiator on Truman Road. They've been around forever, and in fact, my radiator had one of their tags on it from back in the 1970s.

They replaced the filler neck and overflow tube, fixed a few leaks and also fixed a crack in the outlet tube, all for what I thought was a very reasonable price. (They painted it, too.)

It was about a week from drop-off to pick-up.

One caveat: I'm still working on my TO-20, and haven't put the radiator back on, so I can't give you a "working" review just yet.

Thanks for the info Tom.

I took my radiator there and it turns out that it is beyond repair.

Looks Like I'll be getting a replacement.

Hey twobils76;

I'm right down the road in Lees Summit and also a new Ferguson owner (TO30)

I'm needing a radiator repaired, do you have any recommendations?

Thanks for the warm welcome guys! I am in Missouri out by Whiteman AFB. My Ferguson is a 1951 and came with a Ferguson 2 bottom plow. I plowed out a garden spot with it the other day. She got pretty hot and I realized the radiator has a few leaks in it. Guess I will be adding a radiator to the list of top priority items.

Welcome aboard. One of Jeffs comments years ago about removing the new paint around the starter port helps me last week with a hard starting 35. After cleaning it turns over faster and starts. Tonys home make clutch alignment tool was the ONLY help I've gotten from him and I've come down with his ailment, I now have 5 tractors!!

Oh come on 2. I don't get any credit for chasing you away from Standard diesels??? But I am proud to know that you are now '5 tractors'... we got to warn the new guy about how contagious these things are...

Welcome, Twobills

Glad you found the community. There is a slew of good people here who are very knowledgeable about these old tractors.

So tell us a little about your self. What part of the world are you form? (presume US as you bought a TO-30, so what state?)

What will you be doing with your new tractor? etc.

I'm Jeff, I have not been posting too much lately as work has been extremely busy and the IT folks have filtered/blocked ytmag as a Social media site.

Anyhow also look up the Ferguson Enthusiasts of North America (FENA). We put on a national Ferguson Expo. This year it is in August in NE Ohio.

Again welcome
Jeff
