After a few beautiful days at the beginning of this week we had heavy rain yesterday, It dried up some this evening and I decided to cultivate/weed out my potatoes.....got absolutely drenched before I had finished....That is our weather in Norn Iron ....sunshine and showers!

Cultivate! I didn't even till anything yet! Last few hours were the first rain showers since it stopped snowing! No one is interested in creating a new dust bowl, and some bigger veg people are on the news ..'irrigating to prepare to plow'... nevermind plant.
I tried early potatoes last year, wilted way too early, for every 5 pounds planted... got 4 pounds back... guess I better not go in the potato business??
