Taking a 1955 TO-35 to auction this week end to settle an estate for an aunt. The engine is good (overhauled not many hours ago but 20 years), but it is painted like a MF-35. It has a rotary cutter with it. Metal is good but it looks sad, old paint. Live PTO, runs good. What should it bring? Thanks for any ideas. Jon

It should be worth between 2 and 3 grand.

I'd suggest putting a reserve on it. Auctions can be all over the map. If 2 people are there who really want it, you might get a lot more. But if no one shows up who wants a tractor it might bring scrap prices.

Tractor is just south of Nashville, Tn. Tires are pretty good except R front which is shot.
