Why are you still awake? Nightmares about yellow tractors??
Since you are... could you post those pics again? I don't want to hijack the other post...
The plate, Is 'EL ZED' the year? like a car? Or 'landing zone' like for space alien flying saucers?
What is the implement in back? A special potato contraption? It has the notched top link like the mower link people were on about a couple weeks ago. The box on the manifold? For that vaporizing oil fuel?? I think some old AC's had manifolds like that.
Ford style stirrups? No running boards? And the lovely lacey bits? Just to add a touch of class??? Burn heaps of right willies on the silencer like that.. I would be...
 
Our TE20s never had any running boards, Tony....only as an accessory. The implement is a Ferguson knife bar or mowing machine and the rack on the top link was used on quite a number of our machines as an early method of position control.....just lift the machine up and drop the link into the appropriate notch and then you can lift and drop it all day...it will always only drop to the same position......simples! eh? The manifold box is indeed for burning TVO (Tractor vaporising oil) The majority of Fergusons sold here were TVO fueled. And the exhaust .....well, you learn to keep your willy down the other trouser leg!!!!!! The number plate is a County Armagh registration, our tractors have to be taxed and licensed for road use

Hi Sam, as our TE20s just had footrests as standard so when I do my tractor commentries I tell folks that Ferguson 20 drivers sit on a biscuit tin lid with their feet on two six inch nails. MJ
 
So, that was a mower, OK.
And burned the wartime oil, OK.
The plate is a county road thing, OK.
And never had running boards, OK.
As far as any danger to myself.... sad to think how safe that poor thing is on either side of the tractor... now I need a black label with me breakfast...
