I started disassembly of the TO-20 this weekend for repairs, paint, etc. (I"ll be posting photos and more questions.)
I had been planning to clean and Red-Kote the fuel tank, as it"s a little rusty on the bottom, BUT, when I got it off the tractor, I discovered that it had the Infamous Loose Baffle.
It doesn"t seem like it would work very well to Red-Kote it, since you have to tilt/turn the tank to spread the Red-Kote, and the baffle would just be bouncing around inside the tank.
Is there a way to remove the baffle? (I"m not equipped to cut a hole in the tank to remove the baffle, as I"ve read about in the Archives.)
Red-Kote it anyway?
Get a new tank?
