How the heck did you get it all back together with the clutch plates just flopping around loose?
I believe you are supposed to get the clutch mounted to the flywheel, insert your clutch alignment tool to get the clutch plates centered THEN remove the bolts to release the spring pressure and hold the clutch plates in place. Then put the two halves back together.
Also from your pic, which I assume is through the inspection hole below the clutch in the back half of the tractor, I notice a lot of oil in there. I know a certain amount is normal but did you replace the transmission input shaft seal or the engine rear seal to keep leakage to a minimum.
The reason I ask is because I just had my 2 stage clutch rebuilt for my gas TO35 and for what I paid to have it done, I'm going to make darn good and sure little to no oil gets on it.
