direct to indirect injection mf 165?

i got a 67 mf165 ad 4.203 Perkins diesel so it direct injection. can i switch the engine out with a 4.203 Perkins indirect injection engine.

Best to move- repost, this on the Massey forum too.
So what is wrong with the engine? If the bottom end and block is good, just changing the head if possible would be a lot less work. But if the one you have now is shot, I'd say, yes, everything will bolt to the rest of the tractor.... a change in engine or size, model... could thro things off at the front...pivot housings? baskets? Whatever you call them ARE different...
