i have a harry furgson To 30. i know very little about it. the three point will constantly fall while in operation. I figure maybe its low on fluid. But there are many places that look like you could add fluid. any help would be very helpfull.

The large nut just to the left of the gear shifter is the only place you use to add oil to the transmission, hydraulics and the rear end. This oil circulates between all three places. I am guessing there will be a leak inside is why the 3 point falls. The only place to check the level of the oil is with the dipstick on the right side below the seat. However if that dipstick should have been replaced for some reason then it might not be correct. If you will park the tractor on a level spot and let it sit for about 10 minutes then remove one of the bottom bolts in the side cover with the dip stick the oil should just drip out a little. If it runs out fast you should have something to catch it in and let it go until it just about quits dribbling out, then you can check your dip stick to see if it is correct.

To ad to the other comments, I wold loosen the drain plug(s) also to see if any water comes out. It will settle to the bottom and run out first. If it is overfull, I would check this before I lower the fluid by the other method suggested.

After you get the arms to stay up do what Tracy suggested. Then I would drain the oil out and clean the inside real good to get any and all crud out. Then you can use 10 W 30 or 10 W 40 engine oil or as the 60 year old manual says use GL1 90 weight mineral oil. Then you know what is in it.
