I thought he was swilling too much warm English ale to take his mind off the fergie/pub road trip.... but this morning I saw him on the news... all bundled up... digging sheep out of a snow bank... so not just us yanks this year... I suppose he'll have to dig out the bus once all the sheep are accounted for....

Nooooo, Tony. we did not drive into any snow on our trip... until today back at home. I took our 7 American guests to see the Titanic exhibition in Belfast ( well, the big boat was OK when it left us!) and then onwards to see Harry Ferguson"s old Homestead....It was surrounded with about 10 inches of snow and yet 6 miles towards home and we had no snow at all.....Guess we have been lucky.

Hi Samm, you mention the exhibition of the Titantic in Belfast. There is a burial ground with many grave marker"s with names of the people who were buried in that Cemetery, a few kl from where I live. Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Cheers, Murray
