My new ferguson TO-30

Here we go again -I thought I had posted this B4 but can't find it. There are Pics of my new Fergy. Overall in nice condition -got to give it a little love tune up-carb kit-Pto seal-puter making electric origional ,I want the Tach to work its cool. I am new to Fergusons played a little with an 8N 55 or so years ago. I would probably like to sell the loader (who manufactored it?) Probably paint it -are colors correct? I have a swinging drawbar for it and the adjustable lower link stablizers. Ball park value? Comments welcome. Thanks Mr Bill in OK

Great looking tractor , love the seat ! could use one for my bad back .The loader looks a little like a Horndraulic , very common in Australia and England , maybe a U.S. manufacturer made them as well . See here http://www.ploughmyfield.com/2010/07/01/sheffield-steam-rally-2010.

Nice looking 30, even has all the lights! If that tach works like the later ones on the TO35, F40, MF50 it runs off the back of the generator. It looks like its cable is going that way in the picture. If you can find one of the later 12v generators from a TO/MF35, F40, etc with the tach drive gearbox on the back you could keep it a 12 volt system and the tractor would look more original too.

I would like to se a picture of the rear of the generator. Maybe a case Tach drive would be the same. I think possibly the generators are the same.
Thanks Dan

Oldmisterbill, where in OK are you? I can put you in touch with a guy in Rocky, OK that has quite a few old Fergusons, he may have a generator. I get a lot of parts for my two TO 35's from him. Jerry's Starter and Alternator Service in Oklahoma City just converted my 6 volt tach drive generator to 12 volts and went completely throught it for $110, I didn't think that was too bad. Originally your TO 30 was all gray. It looks pretty nice, the rubber looks real good.

That's a real nice looking 30. Good and straight with all the lights and a factory tach. You can't hardly do better than that.
We had a Horndraulic loader back in the 50's but I doesn't seem like it looked like that one, but not sure. Its been too long. I think they were made here in Iowa.

Thanks for all the input. I still have a lot of questions,BUT I haven't had time to even start (except when I first saw it) it just look at it LOL. Looks good throu the window today. I like the blue on gray -shame its not origional color. I am in the middle of some other projects that will keep me busy for a while - then I need to overhaul the engine in my 310 Case. Then maybe Fergy will get some love.
