What year is it? it may all ready be the 87 bore. My tea is a 52 there should be rised numbers behind the carb. whitch tells the year the motor was made but i don"t know how to find that info.

Ive found markings that say its a 51 but that is on the rear end housing, I think that may have been replaced at some time. The Hydraulic control fork inside has an aluminum bridge which wasn't supposed to be there until 53 and its 12v electronics with a lucas generator. Behind the carburetor the casting says 85, I dont recall a year on the engine casting.

OK i'm not sure but on mine behind generator reads 26 6 2 so i'm guessing the block was cast the 26th day on the 6th month on the year of 1952 and acording to the serial numbers it is a 52. Only the early TEA's came with the smaller bore
