Water Pump Question - TO20

A while back I purchased a water pump without pulley (Water Pump without pulley - For Models: TO20, TO30, TE20 w\Z120 & Z129 Engines. Replaces 830862M91R, 120113N. Casting numbers P133, P113, 120K305 . (Part No: 830862M91)). It does have the mount for the fan, though. This may be a dumb question, but how do I get the old pulley off of the old pump, and onto this one? Do I remove the mounting for the fan from this new pump? I'm just wondering if I got the wrong pump. Any advice would be awesom. Thank you.

Once you remove all 4 bolts from the fan then its ready to be installed onto the new pump, you may have to tap on it to unstick the rust.

I used a 3 prong puller but you could probably use a
steering wheel puller it may be safer it's may out
of cast iron but if it breaks they do sell new
pulley's

Experience says "don't tap"! As old as these things are they are very brittle. I'd find someone with a puller for help. Even then don't count out a replacement.

Thanks for the replies. I'll try the puller on the pulley this weekend. I'll let you know how it goes.
