So while I'm waiting on parts to put my hydraulic cover back on I am going over other little issues on the tractor. The PTO was being hard to engage grinding bad sometimes and others it would engage easily so I started looking at the clutch. I checked the distance between the bolt and the pad and it actually was alittle tighter than .090 (0.085 fit tight) so I adjusted the clutch per the manual. Now my question is at this point what if the PTO is still hard to engage where do I start looking next?

| Whats the disadvantage to going that far down from spec?

| Can only guess that maybe the clutch would wear quicker.

| I think the .085 is easier to engage than .090. You may have to go down around .065
|
