Yes it runs, it lives. It does not cloak the town with a thick haze... I didn't want Inno to feel alone in the world... so I decided to break a chunk out of the manifold on purpose... yeah. sure. See the mud wasp or whoever built a nest IN the dist cap, thru a tiny little hole? I try to mark and put every push rod back in the same spot, I wrap bread wireties on each, one on one, two on two etc. And they can't fall into the abbiss until dogged down by the rockerarm, and cast off from others...
Thes pics are from last week. It is all under a coating of snow again... I won't start it again till I get the radiator on, and let it run more than a few minutes at a time... sounds sweet. Does NOT sound like a diesel... which is a good thing....

nice job on the head did you have it bead blasted? I like the wire on the push rods,I like to steal my wife's cloths pins to do that job, but did catch heck cause it was her good ones that had the rubber tips they worked great!!

Tell ya the truth Matt, I don't know. I couldn't get the valve stem guides out, so I took it into the city... he gave me a tour last summer, I guess they put everything in a blaster cabinet. There is still yellow in spots. Na, I wouldn't use clothespins that might end up back on the line next wash day... nope, I would use wireties. safer that way.

Don't see any injector pump....yet! What colour are you going to paint this one,Tony?

100% original yellow Sam.... I think. What do you think? Pazazz it up a bit? A contrasting hue? Hummmmm.......Saint Patrick's day this week??? ... so next week emerald green will be on clearance sale???

Ooooh, tough break there Tony. I cheated with mine and opted to separate the exhaust pipe from the muffler and left it attached to the manifold. Then I had to fish it through the steering etc. when I removed the head........actually I attached the manifold to the head before installing it 'cause of my tough break. I thought of drilling them out but I figured it might just go..........well exactly like yours went. So thanks for confirming that for me, I made the right choice!
Ya know.....if you'd have drilled out the bolt instead of drilling into the manifold, things might just have gone a little smoother for you.
