The Engineering Dept. authorized the MF front hood emblem on 2-9-60. So some time after that they started installing the MF hood emblem, and at that time they would have officially been called MF. I have not seen a certain serial number stating that was the first MF badged tractor. Mickey I am sure you have seen TO 30s advertised as TO 35 and vice versa. Many people that buy a tractor will take the sellers information as being gospel and if they don't have a reason to check they are happy with what the seller told them it was. I see this almost every week so as long as they are happy why should I stir up trouble?

My memory which was processed here on YT, lead me to believe the 57 was the last"to"# for the 35. Maybe the 20 and 30 fell off the chart a little earlier

On the FENA site there is a article called Evolution of the Ferguson TO 35 to the Massey Ferguson 35. This article shows the TO 35 from 1954 to sometime in 1960, at this time it changes to Massey Ferguson 35. According to the article the last serial number for the 1960 TO 35 Gas Deluxe was 207426, Gas Special 209483, and Diesel Deluxe was 203679. This article is found under Resources, Technical Tips then Evolution. This is a very interesting article.
