picture posting

Tired its late I can rebuild a ferguson with my eyes closed but cant get a picture to down load to the discussion forum. easy to the tractor photos Jeff help me LOL

Good morning Scott
On the bottom left of here in tiny print hit "upload photo" , scroll down a ways, then hit "browse", after the pic comes up (mine's usually on the upper left) click on the one you want, wait till it comes up (sometimes that takes a little while) then hit "continue". That should do it.
(I didn't mean to talk down to you, I figured you know 99% of this already, but I thought is might help someone else, too)

I really could never figure what the 'continue' button was for...why wouldn't you want to go on? Oh well...LOL
Irv

And after you do just what Irv said, and you see the little thumbnail pic next to browse/ upload buttons, you need to click the 'continue' over the pic, that will insure it gets added to the reply... maybe... usually... good luck, keep trying.

does it make a difference if scott is using the modern view or if he is the dark ages like me ???

I'll give this a try I didn't think it was tough at all and you probably know as much about computers as I do.
1. I type in my little spiel.
2. Now I go all the way to the bottom of this page where it says ADVANCED POSTING TOOLS and select UPLOAD PHOTO.
3 This brings up something called PHOTO GALLERY UPLOAD. Select BROWSE which magically opens up something in my computer called FILE UPLOAD. I select the folder called pictures and find the photo I want to upload. I click on the picture and gobboly gook appears in the space on this form which is a secret code for the picture. Then I click on the word UPLOAD in the form, wait a few seconds and the picture appears in the little square on the right
4. To add another picture, Click CONTINUE and do it all over again
5 There is a way to put the description under the pictures, but it is beyond me.
6. Next step is click on PREVIEW MESSAGE to see what will be posted . If the pictures don't show up they won't be in your post.
I don't know anything about resizing, uploading them to the web or any of that stuff this works for me but I do wish I could put the description under the picture
