Thanks Richard L noop! Guy at the counter
said he had to have the part #, otherwise he had no way of looking it up. thought I had seen those #"s in the archives but now I cannot find them, any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

That really surprises me I can go into my Napa or Auto-Value and either place will get the book out and look it up.

Your welcome. It would be nice if we could make a sticky out of that thread and whatever anyone wanted to add to it.

The best of parts stores are no better than the counter man or counter woman with whom you are speaking. I have seen some that just don't want to be bothered by something that's not an everyday easy thing. When you get a parts person that wants a part number chances are you might try a different person.

Some NAPA's can be fine, others less than useless. Don't you have a TSC near you? You can just read the bubble pack and pick what sounds right, and compare it to your old one right there on the rack. What's their stuff? Tisco like the YT store? Probably repackaged sparex, all made in the same job shop in another time zone...Yeah, the online store here might have them show up in two days, they seem to have a shipping point everywhere.

Thanks to Tom in Mo. I now have points in hand& ready to install when the weather warms a tad!!!! Thanks a bunch.
