There are a LOT of variables. Depends on what "rough" means, depends on which engine, depends on what is wrong with the engine, depends on tires, depends on drivetrain (dual clutch etc.), depends on location, depends on the market, depends on the price of scrap metal in your area, etc. etc. etc.
With that said, they seem to sell complete and working properly between $3000 and $4000(for a very nice one). I paid $1700 for a 1959 with dual clutch, Z134 engine, good tires, relatively complete with front end loader and working 3 pt.
I am now putting approximately another $1000 - $1500 into it to correct parts of it which were neglected over the years and make it a reliable work machine for me. This is in no way addressing cosmetics such as tin work and paint, just to make it reliable, minimize leaks and make it work for years to come. So now I'm into the area of what they seem to sell for complete and working, but I know what I've put into mine, often you have no idea if someone did a complete rebuild or splashed a coat of paint on it. My choice is to buy one cheaper and fix it up if you plan to use it 'cause it's certainly not a money maker!
