Want to replace the rear axle seal on my TO 20. I removed the axle. I removed a bell shaped rubber, and steel seal, of some sort. Now is there a seal behind the bearing. Looks like the bearing retaining ring needs to be removed, before the bearing can come off. Is this retainer ring sold seperate? Thanks for any info. Stan |

| This site sells the retaining ring. You will have to drill it and then split it to remove it the old one.The new one will have to be heated cherry red and dropped onto the new axle and with a long piece of pipe drive the retaining ring into place. If you do not heat the ring and just press it into place there is a good chance that it will work its way back off and your axle will come out. Or you can skip messing with the retaining ring and just put sure seals on the axle. |
