Tony have you are anyone ever rebuilt a PS steering box on the TO 35? Looks like I'm going to have to rebuilt my new 35. lol Can't view AGCO Book until I get back.

My PS box was shot and I just ordered a manual and installed it but I did dis-assemble the Ps sector. Where the cyl. meets the sector was warped due to the pressure relief valve getting stuck. I priced the parts with MF and just for the bearings and seals for the shaft it was over $300. Be sure you order for the PS sector as the manual steering shaft is a different diameter and the parts don't interchange. If your able to gleen part #'s off your old bearing or find a bearing shop that can cross reference them you will save bookoo bucks. I'd appreciate knowing have you get along with it.

Sorry, I have very few with PS, and the only one I have torn appart to work on yet is on a Cockshutt 540.... in the column, fanbelt drive pump.
Hate to admit it, but took all of 12 years to get the bugs out of it. Even now I hold my breath everytime it seems to stick for a second or 2....

If its just slack on the arms coming out the side, that may be able to be adjusted without dismantling everything, I believe there are shims under the cover plate on one side of the sector gears that could tighten that up. Also there is a cover under your battery that has a wear plate that may need to be re-shimmed, that tightens up the rack on the end of the cylinder. Hopefully you don't have the same fight as I am, where the seals that I got right through agco are leaking like a siv out the top of the steering column......I still haven't got the motivation back up to tear into that project again. My next step is order a seal based on the shaft size and the bore for the seal- rather than one that is "supposed" to fit.

The nut on arms were loose. I adjusted box and tightened nuts and got most all slack out. It's OK now. PS even worked after filling with oil. Lucked out on this one.
