TO-20 carburetor

I am planning to replace the carburetor on my 1950 model TO-20, which is still not running well after my giving the carb a full clean up and rebuild, with a professional remanufactured one. Mine is a Marvel Schebler, and I think its a TSX361a. I've seen both the TSX361a and the TSX458 stated as correct for the TO-20. Which is it, or is there no difference.

Thanks,

Steve

I will chime in with a possible repair of your carb. You can check the float level by pulling the plug from the bottom, installing a brass barbed fitting and connecting a piece of clear hose to the fitting.(Home Depot parts) Hold the hose up above the carb and turn on the gas flow. The level inside the clear hose will show you the actual fuel level inside the carb. Float too high? Now you know without guessing.
Let me know before you toss the old carb.
