Rodent Reminder

it's that time of the year,
mice come in for the winter and love to build a nest in anything of value.

one year they built a nest in the wiring harness of my old tractor, ate the insulation off a few wires and were a real pain in the bottom.

i put rodent packs out around the tractor barn/shed, travel trailer, old jeep, (they really like the old jeep for some reason).

I have cats and they help, but mice are crafty little devils and can do a lot of damage.

normally you will never see them or even know they were there until the damage is done.

seal up any potential food and put out the mice paks, just good insurance as they really like seats and wiring for some reason.

Heads up and protect your equipment.

Tell me about it!!Took my old 33 streetrod for a ride and a mouse ran across the passenger window seal, if the window had been down I could have backhanded it out the window, I almost wrecked.

that would be a great way to go pickup some tractor parts, riding in your steetrod,

my friend had a 40 ford coupe, all fixed up with newer motor and trans,

i felt like i was 16 again, every time i rode with him. nothing like being the center of attention everywhere you go. we would stop for something to eat and when we came out, there would be 4-8 people standing around his car giving it the once over.

old tractors, cars and trucks, that is what keeps us going.

post a picture of your tractor and steet rod sometime.

old boys still need to dream of being young again.

Pics. The little black rodent in front is my wifes. All of the 35's have there bumpers on now.

Just remember the dogs want the mice too, be careful with the poison.

Actually, my dogs have done more damage to wires and hoses trying to get the mice then the mice do.

They took care of the barn cats too.

If you have mice in your parked car or tractor, drive it to a friend's house and park it for a few days. Remove any nests you find. Then go get it after a few days. The rodents will mostly be gone to a new home.
