John,
You replied to message "Standard Diesel Rebuild",
mentioning opening up the hole in the head to the
combustion chamber.

Could you expand on this? I"m not sure if you"re talking about the precombustion chamber or not?
How much to open?

Thanks,

Phillip

Drilling out the chambers is an old trick to assist starting, but it has drawbacks...more smoke and less power! Get your compression up higher and your glowplug working and your timing dead on and it should start better.
My thoughts....Sam
