anyone out there know what the support stand leg looks like on a MF 64 disc plow .

I bought a MF 64 disc plow today and its missing the stand leg or support.

I have not been able to find a picture of a 64 MF disc plow support leg.

Thanks for your help,

Today, i got the rear guide blade replaced with an 18" dia blade, so the plow should follow the tractor and not pull to the left.

my friend found the mf64 parts manual somewhere and sent me a email copy, so i can see how the stand support is made.

in a few days i should have the plow repaired and painted

It will be ready for spring garden plowing.

in the short time i did use the plow, it kicked out 3 or 4 big roots and just rolled on, no hanging up or tearing up anything.

should be a good old plow, it is bad that so many of them have gone to the scrap yard or left to rust their cutter blades off buried in the ground.

Here are the best photos I have . The first red one is a new copy made in India , The red MF one features a stand that is very practical, the best and most authentic is the Grey ferguson .

charles, do you have a picture of the other side of the 3 disc plow that shows what the support stand looks like,
i am going to have to build one or just use a 6x6 block of wood for support for my plow.

so far i have not seen a picture of the left side of the plow #64.

also, i do not have a manual for the plow and have not found one that i can download.

thanks for the picture.

Oh you guys are making me drool! That and a pto rake are the only fergie things left on my Santa list. I now wish I went to Booneville, with a trailer, and get that one from Miner. I only ever saw one in New England, just weren't popular up here for some reason, but I bet it wouldn't mind rocks and old stumps at all- as long as you were going slow...

Tony If I can make it to Ohio next year(FENA Show) and I still have it, I'll bring it. I have 3 plows. Maybe we can do some trading for something.

Tony, my friend and i now have two of the disc plows.
picture of the other one is attached.
we got tired of moving the old plow from one place to the other so we just bought another one. The newer red one needs some work, but the older gray one will really roll the dirt. However both work good.

someone around me advertised a 3pt ferg rake a few months ago, very reasonable, but i had to cross a long narrow bridge with it on the trailer and i was worried about that,

plus i really did not need it for anything other than just saving it from the scrap yard.

most of my old tools, i still use with my little to-35

Hi Max, You disc plough has had a big bang or been on a bender. Interested to know how you are going to straighten it out. These pictures will show you what the stand looks like and how it is fitted.
Here are some pictures of Ferguson disc ploughs on the implement section of this website. My plough is the rusty one and it is being restored.

Gee I learn something everyday. I need now to get a bent one. Miner, your picture of the stand is different to mine. I am looking for a manual on the disc plough. Has anyone got an electronic copy?
