 There is a special spring to keep the Choke open on the Schebler carb. You will not see it easily as it is on the side nearest to the Engine. Both ends are bent over to provide some location for the spring and to keep it in place. If you look for someone who sells Schebler Carb parts, they may have one, it doesn't need to be a Ferguson part and you probably wont find one...John(UK)...fergusontractors@hotmail.com

| Thanks. I think I'll set up a spring behind the dash on the choke rod. I don't want to disassemble the carb.
