I am looking for the wire between the coil and the distributor, any place I can find one, looks to be about 6 inches long,it will fit a TO20.

He's not looking for the high voltage lead, it's the one from the points to the coil.

Don't be mislead by salesmen and use carbon fibre cored HT lead . Copper wire core only .

Just buy a roll of 16 or 18 gauge wire and some crimp on ends. Cut it to the right length and crimp a ring terminal on each end. I don't imagine you'll find a "factory original" piece of wire like that if that's what you're looking for.

This is not the one that goes to the dist. cap but to the side wire that goes to the points

I think he is looking for the HT lead. They are available from any vehicle parts supplier.

Well yes, there is that one too.

As Bob said, an auto part stor for the heavy HT wire. Though I am not sure thoes are sold independantly may have to get a whole spark plug wire set.

Make one.

18 AWG or so with crimped terminal ends. Or just a wrapped around the posts. Does not need to be anything factory spacific.

Jeff
