Marty Prill is a crook. I gave him three chances.... First was a starter...the armature was ate up...cost ring gear... packed, falling out of the box...had to file a few teeth down to be useable due to poorly packed and handled. Third was a Farmall Cub front wheel..Badly bent and wobbled.

Three chances he struck out with me...but hey he need not worry....there is a sucker born every minute..just look at his feedback and read the stories.

Never had a problem even though I know going in that it's bone yard stuff and might not be useable. Usually inexpensive enough to be worth the risk.

Me to had very good dealings with him,I don't expect new condition parts that are 60 years old.I think the guy does a hell of a job at what he does.Do you take into consideration what kind of a job it is to do what he does, and post pictures of all the stuff he does. Then listen to all the crying about not being new and shiny. And at reasonable prices too.I have bought several things from him and more when they become available. Thanks for letting me defend him:

I must say that I have bought my share of stuff from Marty. Some of the stuff was damaged by someone not doing a good job taking it apart. Some damaged by poor packing when shipped. Both problems were not Marty, but his hired help. I will say this,, Marty miss posted a part on Ebay that made it sell for peanuts. I let him know of his mistake and he told me to bid on it and if it sold cheap he would honor it. I bought a good hydraulic pump for a ford 6000 for $9.99 first and only bid. I called Marty told him the pic was wrong on the pump. He told me it was his mistake and if I was the only bid he would still let me have it instead of pulling it and relisting it correctly. I have to say a crook wouldnt have walked out back, looked over what was listed and helped me figure out that the pic didnt match what should have been listed. Wrong pic, wrong wording, but I knew that a pump should have been listed. He didnt even know what the pump looked like. I explained how to locate it by sight. He checked and it was taged, but listed wrong. He let me buy it cheap but didnt have to. Maybe because I treated him with respect while talking to him and he returned the gesture. I vowed to always give him my support when being bad mouthed. He might have not been good to you, but was more than right with me,, Al BAker

If you look at marty's feedback a lot of the negs are about parts being greasey, rusty or some other dumb complaint.

The next problem is buyers do not ask questions about the part condition.

I have bought from him two or three times, no problems and the parts were as shown in the photos. One starter had the solenoid broken in shipment, which maybe would have been prevented by better packing but a solenoid only costs $10 or so and I had a spare one on the shelf so I didn't bother him about it.

I have bought from him a couple of times, parts were dirty, and packing poor, but no issues other than that.

Any part I have bought from any junk yard. Either in person or on ebay has been dirty and or greasey. They really can't afford to pay someone to clean the used parts and buy the cleaning supplies without raises the prices.

I expect used parts to need cleaned.

I bought a Farmall H carburetor from Marty. I had some reservations about it because of the blurry picture, and I could also see it was very dirty, but the price was right, so I bought it. When I recieved it, I quickly learned why he hadn't cleaned it up, and why the picture was blurry. He was hiding the fact that the carburetor had serious issues and could not be used as is, or even rebuilt. The carburetor had enough damage that there were no useable parts of any kind. I contacted Marty, or tried to, but no response. I then left very negative feedback, which resulted in Marty banning me from ever bidding on his stuff again. Thank you Marty.

I've purchased many things from Marty. they were always ok. Marty has saved me a lot of money. if you don't like him don't bid, i'll get it cheaper that way.
