I recently posted here to get a truck shipped and "Gerald" at 224-531-3002 called about it. He is a SCAMMER so PLEASE DO NOT hire him to do anything.

You should have googled that number. Article after article about scams with that number.

Take his phone number and send it to every telemarketer/phone sales site you can think of. Place a craigslist ad for "free scrap metal" with his phone number, if nobody is going to pursue legal action against him at least annoy him with phone calls and use his phone minutes up.

I have used this site to find truckers and it never fails he is the first to call and gives a good rate. I almost fell for it this summer until he wanted half the money up front.Hello I wasnt born yesterday. I hope everyone reads these post before they hire him.

Thank you guys for posting this! I was looking to have a tractor hauled, this guy called and gave what I thought was a reasonable price to haul it. When I got home I googled his phone number and found out that he is a scammer.

THIS WEEK HE IS JOE!!! He SCAMMED my son a 3 time Iraq war veteran out of $240 via a WALMART GREEN DOT CARD for a deposit to move a truck. Reverse searched the number (224) 531 3002 and it came back a Verizon number to a Shawn Smith Des Plaines, Illinois

Thanks for posting this. I have an ad on here for hauling some parts and had 3 messages from this #. I was about to call him back but thought i'd check out the # first. Glad I did!
