If you weren't paid, wouldn't it still be considered a stolen tractor? I think you would be well within your rights to have the police or sheriff show up with you where the tractor is located. You've got court and probably other documents to back you up. I think they could legally seize the tractor and hold it until the matter was cleared up. If Justin didn't come up with the money, you get the tractor back. I know someone who had a custom built hunting trailer stolen($18,000). He was going fishing with a friend of his and saw what looked like his trailer parked way out in a field almost hidden behind tree's. They went to check it out. Sure enough it was his. The guy there claimed he bought it for $3000. Upon investigation most of the other stuff there(lots of it) was also stolen. It sure didn't hurt that his friend just happened to be a police officer. He did get his trailer back. It's not trespassing if there is evidence to suggest stolen property.

I was just thinking that you want to keep an eye on the tractor if you know where it's located.
