Traded my small tractor in good condition for a bigger one that was suppose to just need paint and a little TLC over the internet. We exchanged photos and details. When the tractor arrived it had the wrong motor for the chassis, and did not have the included parts as stated. I told the owner that if he would send the parts and drop off the tires I would go ahead with the trade. He agreed to terms loaded my tractor and left. I have not seen the parts or tires, and started to make repairs and found the tractor I recieved is next to scrap. I have e-mailed the seller several times just asking for only agreed items and nothing else. He won't even anwser. Its ashame when some one gets the good end of a deal and won't even do as agreed.

I'd suggest going back with your truck and trailer, a couple of buddies with pipes and shotguns, and get your old tractor back. You got screwed, so go make it right. To be honest, it's partially your own damned fault, but regardless, it sounds to me like that guy was a crook that took advantage of your stupidity.

You should contact the authorities. If he knowingly knew of the problems with his tractor(he had to)it is considered fraud. Dave
