I would send him certified notice that he has X many of days to pay the balance in full. If he does not do that then I would relist the item. After it sells if you get what you had orginally wanted then I would send his money back BUT if you can"t get what you had a agreed on because the market changed then take the difference out of his deposit and send him whatever is left.
