A 1 Engine Transmission, Cola. SC (Charles Raynor)

Before doing business with them do a search on the 'net. Lots of unhappy ex customers out there.
Price quoted & price billed off by about $2000.
Refused to give me itemized bill until I paid him in full. Never went to court before, but will this time

It would amaze people that are not in the know just how little it cost tranny repair places to replace a tanny with a rebuilt one. Their initial cost is for a good core and a tranny rebuild kit ($250-$500)
After that, they just swap your tranny with a rebuilt one.
There is nothing like added profits to replace the muffler bearings, the battery, the floatastat, the innoculator, and all of that other stuff that many people do not understand.
Oh, and I hope they put winter air in your tires as a courtesy?

Oh yes they at least tried to blow smoke up me...

Sad part is he has been doing this for years. He included a charge for SC DHEC (local EPA) of $168. When I called DHEC to ask if they really had a charge of that size, they said no & requested me to FAX bill info to them.

I was told it would get to the right people.

All I know is he must have a big horse shoe in his butt and not messed with the proper person. Most of my buddies would have already had him shut down and run out of town, legally of coarse.

Oh really , call local john deere dealer and ask what they charge to rebuid a hydralic pump on a 4020 john deere and labor??????? and buy the way ask for a price on a new 730 diesel crank shaft?????
