I posted on this topic earlier, but have not received what I was promised. I have added the following quote from Harlan from the earlier post...
"Tell you what, I didnt want to separate the entire transmission that I had listed, and was waiting to get a bad tranny that would have a good 4th and 6th, I will send you the gears you wanted, and not because you posted this message on here and i want to make myself sound good, im doing it because I dont want to be compared to other sellers that are out to take peoples money and misrepresent their items. Please email me at kruger_implement@yahoo.com and You will get a response within 24 hours and your gears within 72 hours. This is the best I can offer, Im not one to be a hipocrite and like I said I dont want to be compared to other bad named sellers. My reputation is on the line and ill keep it good."

I posted on here twice and was promised by Harlan that the gears would be at my door in 72 hours if I emailed him. I figured the gears would be removed from Ebay and I would have my gears. After the transmission he said he would send the gears out of sold on Ebay a few weeks after I originally posted, I finally emailed Harlan after it was obvious that he did not have my email address. HE ASKED WHICH PART NUMBERS I NEEDED AND MY ADDRESS. I replied with the information he requested. This tells me that HE DID NOT HAVE MY ADDRESS, EMAIL ADDRESS, OR WHAT GEARS I NEEDED. If he had had them, I should have gotten the gears when this was posted on here. How could he ship gears to me when he had to ask me for my contact information and what parts were supposed to be sent? HE SHOULD HAVE HAD THIS INFORMATION IF HE WAS PLANNING ON SENDING THE MISSING AND DAMAGED PARTS BEFORE I POSTED ON THIS WEBSITE. Something is not right. It has now been several weeks without any updates or GEARS.

Just thought I would post my side of the story,

A few months ago Katie Craig bought an entie Late Styled B Transmission from me on ebay for $74.99 + $35 shipping. I had the entire transmission laid out in my shop on cardboard and photographed for the ebay photos. During the entire ebay listing the transmission wasnt touched or moved in my shop so that no little clips, bolts, springs or anything would roll off or go missing. The listing ended with a single bid of $74.99 (quite a deal but the price has nothing to do with this). Katie paid right away with paypal, and the next day I boxed out the entire assembly, which was still untouched or moved off of the cardboard it was laid out on. I picked it all up, put it in a wheelbarrow and moved it to box it all up for shipping the day after she paid for it. Not long after she had emailed me saying two gears were completely missing and one shaft had stripped threads on it. In my eyes it was impossible for two entire gears to be missing, since I never moved them other than boxing them. My personal thoughts were she wanted two free gears if she just complained a little. Right or wrong thats what I had thought. I didnt have a transmission out at the time to send her the gears right away. I told her once I had another one out, that I would send her the gears. It took me awhile to get another B into the shop to tear down as i already had 2 tractors in there waiting to be tore down. The Transmission that was complete that I had sold on ebay for $200 was a complete unit that I didnt want to separate as it was in all good shape and I didnt want to take 2 parts out of it and not have a matched unit. It sold for $200. I hadnt heard from Katie in awhile and just assumed she had forgot about it, until that transmission sold. She emailed me and said she was still waiting for the gears, I did get a B in the shop and started tearing into it. (Meanwhile she was posting all of these posts her on yesterdays tractors). I did tell her to email me the CASTING numbers so that I would know which two gears she was supposidle missing. And I did tell her she would have them within 72 hours once I heard back from here. What Katie didnt post here, is that it took her nearly 2 weeks to get back to me and when she did she gave me the PART numbers not the CASTING Numbers that I had asked for. I dont have a B parts book to look up the Part Numbers to cross referance them to a casting number. I figured if she couldnt give me what I asked for in order to get her gears to her, then she wasnt doing her part on her end. Finally after her last post on here, I took it upon myself to cross referance the numbers at the local deere dealer, go back home, found her the nicest 2 gears that I had with the numbers she requested and even sent her a new shaft that had perfect threads on it, even though she didnt ask for one. Her gears were shipped this past friday and ive posted the delivery confirmation numbers so that everyone on here can check to see that she will really receive them early next week, incase she claims again that she didnt get them. You can all think what you want of me, theres a select few on here that love to drag me under the bus, and have tons of comments, but when it comes down to it, Im one of the very few on here that isnt afraid to always put my actual name with my comments. And as always if anyone would like to contact me personally and actually talk to me about your experiances with me, please call me at 507-256-4693 (evenings) 507-437-6588 Days, or Cell at 507-219-0599 email at kruger_implement@yahoo.com or contact me through ebay do an advanced search and type in kruggiemonster. I will have you know that not once did Katie bother to even attempt to call me once when she did have all of my info. As far as my ebay feedback, I have 3 negatives out of 1350ish in the last year, The last negative I received was over a $10 and I wasnt even notified of there being a problem until they left the feedback. If any of you think that I am a terrible person because I wasnt able to please 3 out of over 1300 people, then so be it, A lot of you on here complain more about wal-mart, but im sure you still go there. Bottom line is, I cant please everyone, I have made mistakes, I probably will again, All I can say is that this was a transaction that didnt go well between me and Katie, I have made it as right as I can. Think of me what you will, If any of you can do better, go ahead, Us "parts guys" do work hard to try to please everyone but there will always be someone that is an unpleasable person. With that being said. Good Day.

Here's the place to start. After reading these stories AGAIN, all I can suggest is to run away as fast as you can once you get your money back or your parts. I darn sure would be on him with an attorney if you don't. Sometimes just a wake up from a legal team is enough to straighten a person out and snap back to reality. If they don't within 30 days of a letter, spend the 30 or 40 bucks and file. Its become obvious he's not willing to work with you. For those who would even consider buying anything from this fella, read the archives, then look elsewhere.

Re: Harlan Kruger AKA Kruggiemonster - Clarification in reply to Katie C., 01-11-2010 13:38:49
Just to clarify, I emailed Harlan per HIS REQUEST on the original post several weeks ago. He said, on that post, I would have a reply within 24 hours, which I did. He also said I would have my gears within 72 hours, but I am still waiting. He asked me, on that email, what my address was and which gears he needed to send. I replied with this information.

MY POINT: He should have had my address and the part numbers IF he was going to send them at a later date. He did not even have my email address, as I am sure he would have replied to the original post with an email to me. Why should I have had to tell him, for the 2nd time, what was missing when he said on the original post that he was going to send the parts at a later date?

Thank you for your support and I will keep you updated!

Katie

I just did a search for him under Ebay. He's there with several neutral or negative feedback comments. I'm seeing several that simply say "oh well" as the last of his comments. That tells me one thing, he doesn't care about his customers.

Stay on him and keep us posted.
If he is in the USA, you can get the States Attorney General involved should he decide to not fulfill his promise and obligation to complete the sell, especially since you have documentation.

Mr Kruger has some rare tractors that look nice in Jan Two-Cylinder one 630Std has an asking price of 135,000.That makes a 4020 look cheap at 13,500.

Larry if your 4020 was the first one built out of 14 and one of only 7 left known to exist, it would fetch well over $135,000. Enjoy your cheap 4020

If you sent him an e-mail, your e-mail should have automatically came up with the message you sent, unless there is a way to block it from showing up. He should have been able to respond unless your e-mail didn't go through but your computer should tell you if there's a message error. Dave

Not if it drops in a "spam file", but if she has ever emailed him before, her email should have gone through fine.
I am sitting here trying to make up an excuse for this guy since he has emphatically denied any wrong doing. I am having a hard time figuring out what could have happened that would make him innocent.
Not to make light of this serious situation, but it will be fun to see what his next line of excuses will be.
Some of these guys are very creative when it comes to sounding like the whole world is messed up and they are just a "victim."
Maybe he can get some more buyers to post on here what a great experience they had, but it will not get this lady the gears that she was promised and paid for, now will it?

I'm surprised he hasn't responded yet saying what a great seller he is. I remember the original post. Why would someone buy a transmission and not want all the gears in it? Isn't there a way to check if an e-mail was sent to a spam folder? I've sent e-mails that went to a spam folder but after contacting the person by phone, they checked and found the e-mail. Dave

Now hold up there Jim, he has had one or two folks to post on here what a great buying experience they had with him. AND, he has managed to collect some very nice and rare tractors through his dealings. Doesn't that resolve all other bad issues that he may have? Isn't it just all about the seller and what they can manage to pull off on buyers?
I don't think so either, but apparently he thinks that way.

Kruggie, I stated "on here", and then you want to blend Ebay feedback with it. No wonder you are having trouble.
I know of at least one seller on Ebay that had thousands of "positives", but was eventually kicked off of Ebay due to unethical dealings.
Let's stay with this board, this is where your buyer first stated a potential issue with the gears that she got from you.

Ebay feedback is not as accurate as some people claim it to be.A lot of people dont leave neg because it almost 100% of the time will give you a neg.If I bought something from you and paid with paypal right away would you give me a positive or wait to see what I would give you.

Harlan,

I took your advice and clicked on the Ebay link. I see that you just drew ANOTHER negative 01/13/2010. How is it that you end up with so many "bad buyers" compared to so many others in the tractor and parts business?

I think the more you sell, the more prone you are to getting bad buyers, if you only sell 15 items a year, u probably wont have any bad people to deal with, and the negative feedback i got on the 13th, they never even notifiyed me of a problem, and it was only over $10, had they let me know of an issue i would have gladly refunded the $10 and told them to keep the parts, All i can do is try, but its hard to when some people dont even give you a chance

Anybody else notice that "Waiting for an apology", "jim Brock", and "Little Allis Lmao" all have the same ISP number? It'd be easier to keep track of all the players in the game if they'd stick to one name instead of trying to make it appear that more than one person has a beef with Harlan Kruger.
