I sent Jake Winn a check for some parts in October and the check cleared my bank within 4 days. As of today, January 2, the parts have not arrived. Back in November, he did respond to an email stating he had all ready shipped the parts and would get me a tracking number. I never received the parts or the tracking number. Now he will not respond to emails. He will not take my calls either. I have left messages at his number, 541-967-0085, with Helen Decker, who is supposedly his mother in law. He has not responded to the messages. |

| Im having similar troubles with the guy. Sent payment, seems the check made it to the bank with no problems (beginning of February) but shipping is a bit of an issue. Jake never provides a phone number and claims his e-mails dont come thru. . . dont know what type of e-mail account he has but when youve had open lines of communication with someone (sending e-mails back and forth) the e-mail typically does not get dumped into the junk folder. Even if it does it should be obvious enough in the junk folder, or if it happens often enough you should know to look there. He claims to be waiting to hear from me for shipping information. . . I had hand written everything down and included it with payment for the parts. I have no problems with the guy, Id just like the parts he sold/promised to be shipped. Ill post nothing but good things about him if he gets the pieces shipped out, but if this continues to drag on Ill have a lot more to say. |

| | I do appoligize for the shipping mixup. That was my fault. My wife opened the letter with the check and i didnt see the shipping info. That was the trouble on my end and I do appoligize for that. I have AOL and even though I set the spam email setting to allow ebay emails, they dont always come through. Im not sure what else to do. I have had some shipping delays in the past, and they are my fault. I try to keep in contact as much as I can to keep everyone up to date. I wouldnt want problems with something Ive bought, so i dont want to do the same thing to someone else. Sometimes life gets really busy for everyone. I work a regular job, wife in school full time for her masters, plus her working 36 hours a week. Then there is my parts buisness and two toddlers. Not trying to make excuses, but I get frustrated when I or anyone else for that fact gets hammered for not getting things shipped out that very day the auction ends everytime. I put notices in my ebay auctions that it can take up to 10 days after the auction ends, and I receive payment, to get the item out. Im sorry that it takes that long, but sometimes it does. Again, as i stated earlier, i have screwed up a few times. Not on purpose, and I try to do the best i can. If anyone ever has a problem with something ive done, my cell is 541-207-8327 and email is weasel2278 at aol If i dont answer, please leave a message and Ill get back to you as soon as I can. I dont usually answer when im at work during the day. JW |

| The motor freight shipment did arrive today. Jake had prepared/packaged it well. It took a little extra prodding but it must have worked. Seems most transactions go well with him, but better communication would be helpful; reminds me why I like to be able to talk to someone over the phone for a transaction. |

| | I talked to the buyer today. My AOL was putting his emails into my spam folder. The phone number is my in-laws house, we live on the same property. I ship through my work and our shipping guy was laid off right after this gentleman purchaced the parts. I thought they had been shipped but they apparently got lost. I am going to refund his money no problem. It was a mistake on my end and I appoligize for this. I am sorry for any inconvience. Jake Winn |

| Good show. I've had people say that my e-mail address goes into the spam folder as well. It's hard to respond to something you don't see. Dave |

| If he has something else for sale, call from a number different than yours and ask about the stuff for sale, I'll bet he will be glad to talk to you. Then you can tell him that he can make good or you're contacting your State's Attorney General's office. If you have the documentation, they will be more than glad to get to the bottom of it. This must be the same game that several parts sellers's pull. We had a guy around here that was doing pretty well selling parts until the word got out about him. If you were buying, you could almost always find him, but if he owed you something, you seldom could find him. Problem is, he thought he was the only one that money meant anything to, however, it works equally for the buyer as it does the seller. |
