ryan from baldwin city kansas

have talked to people dealt with Ryan from baldwin city, ks and have heard alot of bad rumors about scams. just wanted to let some one know so anybody else got scammed. i just believe there is no room for this on a good site.

It don't take a very big man to get on here and call people out and then not put a name with it. I know Ryan and I know you are probably the one who had him buy four JD tractors in western Ks. and then turned them down when they arrived in Iowa. It was a G and a 730 and a 70 gas and a 70 propane. The 730 and the 70 gas paid for all of them even with the shipping clear to your place and back to his house. Then the other 70 was free clear when he sold it and now gets to keep the G. Go ahead and tell your name so everyone knows how big a dummy you are. All because he didn't have a key for an ignition on a 430 that was rusted up and would never work. I belive an apoligy is in order or I'll put your name on here. Just a neighbor of some good folks who'll do anything for anyone.

Second hand from second hand info. Perhaps the actual people involved should be discussing any dealings they've had. Posting something negative and putting a name to a post without having absolute proof seems like jumping the gun to me and is just plain wrong. Hearsay doesn't hold up in court, so it shouldn't on here either. You seem to know intimate details about a transaction and "probably" know the potential buyer. Is it OK if I guess who you "probably" are? Dave

I am who I said I am,a neighbor. And yes I do know about this situation because we talked about posting his name on here and Ryan said not to. Why are you so eager to belive the negative and not the truth? I'm going to call him tomorrow and see if he'll let me tell the whole story.

Ryan is a smart man. Let him post if HE wants to, without pressuring him to do so. It may very well have been a bad deal for him but it's not up to you to be relaying second hand and biased info. I wasn't taking sides. Nobody likes gossipy women, so why would they like second hand info from a friend of the person who supposedly got the short end of the stick? It's up to Ryan since it was his deal, not yours. There's always 2 sides to a story, like it or not. Dave

I bought an Oliver 990 from Ryan in December. Got the tractor home and was missing parts. I called, and Ryan said he would send the parts. That was December, and this is mid March still no parts. Lots of run-around, he will not answer or return phone calls for weeks at a time. When he does answer, pretends to be someone else(Jared) I offered to pay the shipping or come back out and pick the parts up still no luck. So far it has cost me $200.00 and climbing to replace the parts that should have been included with the tractor. Your all adults and can make your own decisions, but take a little advice from me buyer beware on this seller. P.S. he will probably reply to this and say he shipped the parts, and blame the delay on fed ex, but has never been able to supply a tracking number. ?????

Mark...I am not the person who posted ANY of the notices about Ryan on here. I know that because I am the person who refused the load of tractors. The two issues here are totally seperate issues. Yes I bought a 430 from Ryan that was to have a key AND A TOP LINK for the three point. Contacted Ryan several times, and he finally told me that his wife HAD sent the top link and keys, one of which was for the locking gas cap on the tractor. To this day I have never received either, and he will not answer my calls. The second issue is the tractors that I refused. Ryan GROSSLY misrepresented the tractors when he described them to me. The tractors were NOT even close to the condition he told me they were. I phoned Ryan while the tractors were still on the truck and expressed my concerns. After a short conversation he told me to send the truck and load to his place. That is exactly how this went down. Since that time I have spoken to three people who were at that sale and saw those tractors. I also have the name of another person who saw the tractors when they arrived at my place. If you want to send me your phone number I will have tham call you and tell you directly what they were like. I have been in this business for over 20 years, and this is the first time I have ever refused a shipment of tractors, and it was also the first time that anyone has so badly misrepresented tractors to me. Again, I did not post any comments about this until now, but I did read the mans comments about never receiving his Oliver parts either. Guess we BOTH must be liars in your opinion.I would not tell anyone not to do business with Ryan, but I would highly recomend that you inspect the items in person first and make sure you have everything in your hands before you close the transaction.
