I bought a 4320 J D off you for Fishburn Services You said the tractor was good and nothing wrong with it. when it got to us it had 10 gallon of oil that had poored out of rear end. I have emailed you and tried to call you to take care of this matter but you have not responded, so I take it that your word is no good or are you going to make this right?

I purchased a John Deere R tractor from him about 6 months ago. The tractor turned out to be an honest tractor. How did you lose 10 gallons out the rear end and not see oil all over his yard when you picked it up?
Hope you get it worked out. 4320's are a nice tractor. I owned one back in the late 80's until I retired.

I HAD A COMPANY HAUL TRACTOR FOR them. IF I WOULD HAVE DONE IT I WOULD I NOT TOOK IT AND I WAS OUT OF COUNTRY WHEN IT WAS PICKED UP. ITS LEAKED OUT AROUND 3 PT. THE SEALS AND SHAFT COST them 295.00. ALL they WANT IS THAT TO BE MADE RIGHT. THE REST OF TRACTOR THEY ARE HAPPY WITH. THEY WILL PAY THE LABOR TO FIX IT. I DO NOT THINK THATS ASKING TO MUCH

I called them last night and I could not get a word in because he was to busy swearing at me over a 295.00 part. I dropped the price 1,000 for you. This tractor is one of the nicest tractors you will find and you know it.. I have no problem paying for part. There is no reason to swear at me like you did. 1 pint is alot differnt than 10 gallons like you first said. Maybe if you talked sensable to me we could work out an agreement. By the way I did not get any calls from you and you know it.

I NEVER TALKED TO YOU OR SWORE AT YOU!! YOU TALKED TO MY DRIVER HE HAS PHOTOS OF THE TRACTOR LEAKING OIL WHILE HE WAS LOADING IT!! IF YOU OR ANYONE ELSE WHATS TO SEE THE PICTURES I CAN PRODUCE THEM!! IF YOU SEND A 295.00 DOLLAR CHECK TO FISHBURN SERVICES WE WILL FORGET ABOUT IT!!!

I bought a IH 560 from him last year. I also had trouble. Not with the tractor but with my trailer. My trailer had a tough time hauling the 560, that had a hydrualic loader. I blew out 2 tires before I got back home with it. That being said, the tractor was better than I had hoped. I still use it today and I thought he represented the tractor correctly. I learned that I just need to buy a better trailer! I never purchase anything over $500 without seeing it. Trying to describe a IH-560 that is 40+ years old is tough to do. However, what he described was accurate and he even told me that my trailer was a bit light to haul the 560. So he didn"t seem to just take my money and run, he seemed to care that the tractor was going to make it home safe with me. Sometimes we cause our own problems when we don"t see what were buying. I didn"t pay for the 560 until I showed up and looked it over. It"s used (40 years used) so I know that anything can happen. So lesson learned, look before you buy. If your not happy with it, leave it. Don"t throw him under the bus for a $295 part, when you didn"t even take the time to look at the tractor.

I wouldn't have any problem paying for the parts if you would have just called me. Now you post this out here trying to make me look bad. I called you or your trucker and got belittled and swore at to the third degree. You told me my tractor was a catastraphy. Then you posted out here and said that it only had a oil leak. Sounds like your getting lost in your lies. Im glad there are good people who replied back in my favor. You should make your trucker pay for the part for being such a jerk. Anyone who reads this please give me your opinion on what I should do. Thanks

I just saw this post. I have a couple of thoughts. $295 to fix a tractor that was bought sight unseen isn't really that bad. Look in the archives on here for severe problems. If you buy something and find it it needs a little fixing, you should first talk to the seller in a polite manner and give him/her the opportunity to correct the situation. If you or someone on your behalf is yelling and swearing at the seller, before you've even let him try to fix the problem, you can't blame the seller for being upset with you. From the other posts, it sounds like the seller is a pretty good guy and wanted to correct the problem from the outset. You can't buy a used car and not expect to have to fix something. Why shouldn't you expect it on a tractor? JD's need repairs as much as anything else. Dave

Those shafts for the 3 pt don't always leak, the same amount every day.It always seems one little puddle one day and next nothing. If the arms were moved during transport,or tie down with(which shouldn't) That could of trigged a leak. If anyone thats been around john deeres know how those shafts leak. One day no leak, next maybe.

All of my john deere tractors leak around the 3pt. The only time they stop leaking is when the tractors or being used constantly during the spring, summer and fall. They began leaking about a month after they set in the sheds during the winter. I have even spent the money and replaced the seals, guess what about 6 months later the leak developes again. If your buying a used tractor, there will be leaks like this.
