Looking for help identifying this plow. 2 x16 plow chief bottoms. Hoping that it will work on my recently acquired Farmall 350. Need to order the correct operators manual. Thanks, Mike

Not sure, going to move the tractor to the shop where I unloaded the plow tomorrow and see how it looks. I have my doubts but will try to mount it and see how it looks. Hoping some one on here will remember the plow and if it will work.

Dish your centers in and it should work your right tire should be about 26 inches from the center of the tractor.

For 16 inch bottoms set right tire inside 28.5 from center of PTO shaft. Wheel dished in or out can be done. May have to change rim bevel placement if needed from present setting. Also moved on the axle. Just depends on the present setting, or move the power adjust type if equipped.
Plow operators manual number was 1-011-603 R2 in 1957.

Plow mounted on tractor fine. Will need to reverse cast center on that side of tractor together narrow enough Is the rolling tail wheel special to this plow or will any rolling landslide wheel work as this one is worn out. Anyone have a good picture of the depth gauge wheel? Can you plow without it? Thanks, Mike.

With a double bevel rim you don't need to turn the wheel around. with the outside bevel of rim bolted to wheel and a 13.6 X 38 tire on a 11 inch wide rim it will move in a little more than enough to use a 14 inch bottom that needs about 26 inches from tractor center to inside of tire. Even a SH with 13.6 X 38 on 12 inch rims will move in enough without dishing the rims in.

To answer the other questions. Plow can be used without the gauge wheel. Rear furrow wheel was a attachment, regular equipment was a long landside. In the picture of the gauge wheel you can see the brace going across to the long rear landside. Picture not that great though. Several gauge wheel set ups for the IH plows are close. Some have a thicker bar than others and some a wider bar than others.

Thanks for the info, I will adjust the wheel this weekend and see how it looks, think I want to repaint the john deere yellow rim anyway. It is a 2 x 16 plow so I should have plenty of room. Thanks again.
