Hello F12 officianados! How do I drain the
water from the head/block on an f12.
Draining the radiator won't get the water
out of the engine.

Thanks!

Should not be a problem as the drain is on the output connection (bottom) of the radiator and the connection goes to the bottom of the water containing part of the block. Always worked for my O-12.

If the front end of yours sets high like most of that model does, then you need to make sure the water jacket on the left side of the engine gets completely drained. Almost all of them that I have seen are cracked and welded at the bottom of that jacket.

the F30 is the only F series with an actual block drain because it has a water pump. The F12 should drain completely from the wing plug on the bottom of the radiator. May have to park it so the engine is level. If it still won't drain, your block is full of crud and needs a good flush
