Before I start dissecting...
I understand how the hydraulic pump comes out, and that there's a "suction tube" that crosses from the pump to the filter side.
And that that tube has some kind of seal on it that is prone to failure on the filter side. (seems it's just a simple o-ring on the pump side - easy enough)
Try as I might, I can't find any information on repairing/replacing those seals - or replacement tubes.
If mine IS bad (I have a real bad "whine" going on) - is there anything I can do short of overfilling with fluid to bring the level up over the tube?
I'm very hesitant to pull it just to inspect it, in case it's still good - I don't want to risk damaging it.
