Suggested Tires

The right tire on my Farmall SM is toast. The left one doesn't seem much better. If I have to pay for a service call I just as well get two new tires. Do you have any suggested brands that don't cost as much as a tractor? Does anyone have an opinion on the BKT brand? My tire dealer quoted BKT about $300 less than Firestone.

I am reflecting what others have said, and a neighbors experience when I say they seem to be as good a tire as any, and the reasonable price makes them a bargain. Jim

I just put 2 BKT tires on my 300 this spring. I really like them. I have not used them for any real hard pulling but they grip good when braking and clean really well. For the price, I think they are a very good tire.

Not being disagreeable but why put a Chinese tire on an American made tractor ? Firestone will be like IHC and go out of business . Buy American when possible it helps Americans.MHO

I went with a set of firestone's as they were a little bit less than titan's and not much more than bkt's.....they will wear better on asphalt than the other two. And since I seem to run on a lot of pavement, I figured i'd be better off. Kleber brand tubes are a good investment, while your at it too.

The BKT"s I bought were from India , and have held up well .... I got no use for Chinese tires either .
