1066 and field cultivator

so im changing things up and bit and trying to decide how big of a field cultivator my 1066 could pull. I would say she is a good 130hp. not looking to go deep with one but I do want to go about 3inches or so into bean stubble with one and then work chiseld ground with one too. whats your guys thoughts?

If there is any amount of clay I would say between 18 to 21 feet wide. That is what a 130 to 140 horsepower tractor would be teamed up with here. Of course we have hills in quite a few areas here, too. Maybe other places that run sandy loam, well drained, and flat you could run 25 feet or more. Good traction tires make a lot of difference.

Our 22' Sunflower is a good match for our 165 HP 1486, new engine, cultivator all the way down, 8" sweeps. Pull it in 4 L, works pretty good there. Have a few spots that have to pull the T/A back or give it more throttle. Usually run all of our tractors with 414,436 engines at 1800-1850 rpm. Wouldn't even try to hook our 22' to our 1066, its earned its keep, no reason to tear it up.

I pulled a 24 ft IH 4500 with both a 1206 and a 1456 IH.....They were probably running 150 horses plus.....I have fairly easy pulling soil so ran in high 1st...
