Super m wash job

Bought this thing in 08, thought I was bored and needed something to do, didn't take much dust, grease and rust to figure out I wasn't that bored. The sheet metal was painted 2 1/2 years ago and the rest was painted about 5 years ago and covered with a lot of dirt, finally washed it for the first time and was surprised it came out looking pretty good. Even built a brake lock assist for young kids and old stiff fat guys, I covered both of those descriptions only 60 years apart.

Maybe someone can answer this but didn't farmall make a rod that hooked under the brake lock and run over on the clutch side so you could press with the right foot and lock with your left. I'm not sure if it was an add on or what but my grandfather had one m and two super m's with that rod. Yours looks good but the other looked like it would be easier. Beautiful tractor. Wish I could have mine looking that good wit just a bath

Those brake lock rods were aftermarket, both of our Ms had that style and also pto levers that engaged from under the left front of the seats. That stuff was installed so I could use the tractors easier, could of really used power steering.

Very handsome. And from the post above that's only worth $1500? Sorry, don't believe it, don't understand it. To me it's worth about 10X that. same as a new CaseIH on the lot.

I was at a threshing show a couple months ago and saw one on an H, snapped a pict. and scratched my head a few times and this is what happened. Had to buy the rod, the rest is pieces out of my junk pile.
