Genny wiring

I am finally getting my 350 reassembled after a teardown and restoration I started 2 years ago. The label I put on the wiring ends have disappeared. At the generator there are two posta, F and A.and I have two wires protruding from the harness shield. One is yellow, about a number 10 (.112), the other is blue, about 8 ga (.166). I can't follow them back because the harness is enclosed and not accessible. Which one is field and which is arm?

Heavy on A & lite on F would be normal. No idea what you may have.

Heavy wire should be batt volts and goes to the batt term on the reg. Short piece would go from A term on gen to gen term on reg another short piece would go from F term on gen to F term on reg. Your other wire probably goes to L term on reg
