Farmall M 1930s Sales Video

Subject is an interesting IH film on You Tube, looks like 1939. A few things surprised me:
Steering wheel had plastic covered spokes. I thought those were newer.
Wide bars on the grill were painted cream or white. Also shown that way in the drawings.
Looks like 11-38 tires.
Film shows tractors working and they did not try to show them clean.

That steering wheel was used on the later F 20's.

What Gene said. Some of the early Ms did use that steering wheel, but the bars weren't painted for anything but show.

Several things different. Looks like spit rim 36 inch rims on some that did make it to early ones and the M made different on some M to name a couple of things.

That was fun to watch. About 2/3 into the movie when they go "down south" get a load of the tire pattern on the rears. More traction or fill up with mud faster?
