1066 has no brakes and steering

I Would check the hydraulic fluid and if full, I would add 5 gallons. If the filter has not been changed, do that as well. The extra hurts nothing, and covers a source of air suction fault with oil. Jim

Well if the hyd level is low that maybe the issue , But did you check and see if thethree point still works ??? and does the PTO still work?? If the latter is the case and you have NO Steering NO brakes and No three point and NO PTo then you have a problem in the clutch housing and you are going to need a new clutch pressure plate and IDPTO gear . Just finished up a 1086 with that problem . That was a fun job , first we had to get it out of the field as it was five miles from the guys farm , next problem after we got it up on the trailer was the fact that it was way back in a old reclaimed strip cut and the only way out was up the old haul road and it was steep with loose shale . Loaded heavy on the nose of the trailer to add more weight to the truck and it was a 2011 Dodge one ton 4x4 Cummins add one extra Dodge one ton 4x4 Cummins then add in a Ford one tone 4x4 . lots of wheel spinning off all the trucks . I remember back when they stripped that ground that each and ever load of coal that came out of the hole had to pulled and pushed up and out . D9 pulling and a 988 B pushing .
