CUB question.

Here is a matter of choice question. I own a standard CUB with the little draw bar and all. I may have a chance to pick up an older cub with the one point hitch and two attachments. Spring tooth and plow. I have never played with such a CUB but am very used to working with two point hitch and love it. I know the one point will not allow you to use a draw bar, or so I have heard. Anyhow let me know your opinions.

If you like fast hitch then why are you worried ? Don't let your torch run out of gas or you won't be able to make prongs , neat little tractors and lift.

the cub with 1 pt. quick hitch, has/had a short piece of metal that fastened to the bottom of the rear of the quick hitch with a pin. this metal part can be added or removed as you please and this allows something to be pulled, disc, trailer, etc.

Jeff, you will love the versatility and convenience of the fast hitch. The FH spring tooth is a rare and valuable tool.

Yup all of the bigger tractors 450 300 460 on the farm had 2pt and it was always so handy. Trouble was the IH wouldn't let anyone else make it unlike three point hitch. What I have read. The hitch adapter for the cub I see are on ebay in the area of just under $100.oo. With regular two pt hitch you get a fabulous draw bar and can have a swinging bar too but not with the CUB. The tools for the tractor that I have seen are a plow, spring tooth, and a single disk set harrow. Wait, there was one picture with a BUCK saw? Wonder what else you could hitch up to? Well so it goes but I will see if I can pick it up.
