Has anyone seen or have pictures of the pto shaft, and or pto cover for a 15-30. Also
looking for the same thing for 10-20. Would they be interchangeable to others, W-30 or W-
40? Was this a dealer item only? Thanks, for your help.

Here's one on my buddies 1927 15-30.

I have a pto on one of my 10-20s.

PTOs were available for 10-20, 15-30, W30, WD40 and W40, but they were an option and cost extra if a farmer wanted it. Few farmers needed them as most stationary equipment was run off the belt and pulled implements were either ground driven or were powered by their own engine. A 10-20 pto MIGHT fit a W30 too, but I am not sure without checking the parts book. 15-30, W40 and WD40 PTOs are all different and specific to each tractor.

W40 PTO is unique in that it has an internal tooth gear on the inner end that meshes with a gear on the rear of the transmission, this is to provide a gear reduction to get the PTO to turn the correct 540 RPM at rated engine speed as the 6-cylinder turns faster. I found one for sale once, but the seller wanted $500 for it.

Thank you for the information. I did find a pto cover but still looking for the pto itself. I will post a picture of the cover tomorrow.

I am impressed with the axle weights though.

That's what I am looking for. I seen one online but was different from this one as it had a flex shaft, predecessor of the U joint. I did find a pto cover and fill post a picture tomorrow. Thanks for the picture.

I looked in my parts books and determined that the 10-20 and W30 PTOs are different and won't interchange.

Here is a picture of a PTO extension on a 15-30.

I removed those concrete filled wheels off the 10-20 as the rims are rusted out. I replaced them with a pair of steel wheels, the fronts are still rubber though.

Now I understand what I saw, it was an extension parts that I had seen in a picture.
Someone must have wanted the pto but not the extension. I did find this cover however,
wondering if it has a part number listed.

I don't see anything in my tractor parts books on that PTO shield. Oftentimes that would have been listed in the implement parts book.
