Side curtain hooks

Check with Rice Equipment or The Fordson House. If neither one has them, then you will have to probably rebuild them yourself.

Thanks the hook's i have are not that bad! however would hate to start hacking up to find myself in deeper than i wanted to be.Looking at the hook top looks like was center punched to keep top of hook tight.Any idea's on rebuild? Thanks in Advance Steve.

You say your hooks "are not that bad" do they still function?

I will have to rebuilt all 4 of the hooks for the 1926 10-20 I finished rebuilding this spring. You can still get tubing the correct size and with the various sizes of new springs available, a new one can be found to match the original. The only problem would be the tube is rounded over a little on the bottom to capture the spring while allowing the 1/4" rod to pass through and it is also crimped on the hook. I have been thinking about how I would do that, and the conclusion I come to would be to make some sort of tool and die to accomplish those processes.

Kirk That's the problem I have run into, the top of the hook.Looks like part of the top fits inside top of tube and then it is punched to swell the tube.Or maybe it's like a cement anchor bolt! Maybe there's a market out there for repairing these!
