went to look at 560D I mentioned before. Started with about 10 seconds glow lug, after it ran abit started back up without glow plugs. Has I believe, Schwartz wide front. I think it has PS and steared pretty easy, not little finger turn easy but not hard. TA good both sides no slipping with brakes applied, no noise in any gears. Rear tires probably 80% or better 15.5x38. Aftermarket 3 point was kinda rough lift links that are supposed to adjust were bent not sure of brand. It had 3 levers on side of dash so I assume 2 extra memotes in addition to one that ran 3 point. SN tag started with S CC stamped into tag behind it and CD up a ways. What would those mean. Guy wanted 2500 for tractor, think probably a good price just not sure how much I need another tractor

That sounds like a good tractor with decent rubber for a fair price. Could the cc on tag mean heavy tillage gearing. I always liked the ones i had. They just sipped diesel like it was a fine whiskey.

That is a good deal - tires are valuable.

With 3 hydraulic levers, does he just have a 2 point to 3 point adapter kit installed? Sounds like it may have the fasthitch? The rightmost lever would be the tele-depth lever would control the hitch arms - the inner 2 levers are the hydraulic remote levers. Other wise, what does it have for a drawbar? They either had a fasthitch with a swinging drawbar, or a bolted on stationary bar like your M.

2500 is not much for a good running diesel - I do all my farming with 2 560's. Good machines. Not too big, not too small. The diesel will barely use any fuel.

Best of luck!

changed my mind, called back and bought tractor. now a matter of getting it hauled home. has aftermarket 3 point, has 1 way cylinders operated by outer lever. Other 2 hydraulic levers go to remotes, one on each side ahead of dash, I assume for loader. Need to get it cleaned up and look for leaks, tinwork seems to be there just needs some fasteners, muffler moves around on pipe up from manifold but pipe looks to be solid in manifold, maybe wrong muffler will get full sn and maybe figure out what letters mean, would that be a C263 engine? got to start ordering books...

A C-263 would be the gasoline or propane engine. A D-282 is the diesel engine that was used.

C = carburetor
D = diesel

I watched a similar condition 504 GAS with a narrow front sell for $3000 a week ago makes $2500 for a deisel 560 sounds like a deal.
