replacing oil seal and felt washer in L side of B trans

Ive got the L side axle off. There is a 3 bolt casting, bolted to the outside of the trans case. I took the bolts out, and it spun around, but wouldn't come off. Thought id better get some advice before I got rambunctious and broke the casting. How do I get it off, and what do I do next. Gene, Got your ph#. IF I don't get any info, Ill call you Mon morning. The one i just did pulled rite out easy sometimes you need to do a little prying to get them out. I havent done the rite side yet. I did need to make a set-up to remove the axle two pumps of the jack and it poped rite out. I made the felt out of some stuff i had NAPA had ordred them and after two weeks was told they didnt no longer have them should have went to dealer.
